I have shoulder-length wavy hair. It’s majorly poofy. I can't even blow-dry it. Sometimes I straighten it, but it never really helps. I don't have enough money for a professional straightening job and I'm growing out my hair so I don't want a haircut either. There must be some way for me to fix this problem easily. Help!
Girl, you've got naturally gorgeous waves! Why in the world are you trying to straighten them? Go with what your mom and dad gave ya! It looks like straightening those tresses isn't doing anything for you anyway. Here's the steps you need to take to embrace those pretty strands.
1. Find a moisturizing, curl activating shampoo and conditioner . If you let your hair get dried out (your straightener is prob frying your locks!), it's going to be more likely to frizz or "poof. The curl activator will help give your hair a tamer look.

2. Comb through your hair while you're still in the shower. Use a wide-tooth comb. Just before you get out of the shower, rinse your hair with cold water. This will help seal in moisture and keep your hair from frizzing.
3. Gently towel dry your hair when you get out of the shower, squeezing hair and pushing upward slightly. Don't rub! It'll cause tangles and frizz.
4. Spray a leave-in conditioner generously over your hair.
